Our Cyprus meal was Roast Lamb from Cyprus | Ofto Kleftiko, Mediterranean Roast Veggies |Briam, Red Wine Potatoes | Potatoes “Afelia” And Brandy Poached Apples | Firikia Glyko. Rob liked the lamb but I thought it was kind of gamey. The veggies were ok. The veggies were potato, zucchini and eggplant layered with with tomato sauce. The potatoes and zucchini were good but the eggplant was kind of mushy. The roasted potatoes were delicious. They were tossed with olive oil and red wine and roasted until crispy in the outside and tender on the inside. The poached apples were our favorite part of the meal. Apples simmered in sugar, water and cinnamon stick. A little apricot brandy added at the end. We eat them with vanilla ice cream. Yum!!
